Lorena Ruvinova

M.S., CCC-SLP

Founder & Owner

Lorena Ruvinova is the founder and owner of Speech Castle. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Yeshiva University in New York and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from CUNY Brooklyn College.

Lorena is LSVT LOUD certified, PROMPT trained, and trained in DIR Floor Time and Augmentative & Alternative Communication Devices. She specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Ankyloglossia (Tongue Ties).

With experience spanning the full lifespan from early childhood to adults over 80, Lorena treats feeding and swallowing disorders, articulation disorders, language disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, ASD, hearing impairments, reflux, Central Auditory Processing Disorder, Social Pragmatic Disorder, and Sensory-Processing Disorder.

Allison Lorberg

M.S., CF-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Allison Lorberg earned her Master of Science in Education of Speech-Language Pathology from Monmouth University and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kean University.

Allison is trained in the Parkinson Voice Project, SPEAK OUT! certified, and LOUD Crowd trained. She works with both pediatric and geriatric populations.

She treats articulation disorders, language disorders, fluency disorders, ASD, hearing impairments, Auditory Processing Disorder, Social Pragmatic Disorder, tongue thrust, and early language development.

Angela Buro

Office Manager

Angela Buro brings 24 years of experience managing a speech therapy private practice. Her extensive background in administration and organization, combined with years of experience working with children in schools, makes her an invaluable part of the Speech Castle team.

Angela ensures that office operations run smoothly, providing support for therapists and clients alike. Her dedication and warm approach help create a welcoming environment for every family.

Alexa Bazzurro

Clinical Fellow, Speech-Language Pathologist

Alexa Bazzurro earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Education in Speech-Language Pathology, both from Monmouth University.

Alexa is Parkinson Voice Project certified, SPEAK OUT certified, and LOUD Crowd certified. She has completed clinical placements in private practice and public school settings, including experience with Autism and Multiple Disabilities classrooms.

She works with clients across the lifespan, treating articulation and language delays, fluency disorders, ASD, Aphasia, auditory processing difficulties, social-pragmatic challenges, tongue thrust, and early language development.

Kristen Kerrigan

Speech-Language Pathologist

Kristen Kerrigan earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Monmouth University and her Bachelor of Arts in Family Science and Human Development with a minor in Speech-Language Pathology from Montclair State University.

Kristen is PROMPT Level 1 certified and trained in early intervention, play-based speech therapy, and gestalt language processing. She has worked across multiple settings including schools, teletherapy, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and private practice.

She treats articulation and phonological disorders, language disorders, ASD, Down syndrome, ADHD, fluency disorders, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and aphasia. Her approach is client-centered with a focus on functional, meaningful goals and family involvement.
